Healthfirst provides high quality, comprehensive healthcare coverage to minimize the financial impact of medical costs for employees and their family members. An employee’s contribution is calculated based on plan election, who is being insured, and annual salary. Healthfirst makes a substantial contribution per employee per year for both medical and dental benefits. Healthfirst also offers voluntary vision insurance.
Healthfirst offers a generous 401(k) retirement plan for employees, who may begin deferring a salary percentage to the plan immediately after date of hire. Employees’ 401(k) deferrals are always 100% vested. After one year of service, Healthfirst will match employees’ contributions up to 6% of his or her annual salary. The match is immediately vested.
PTO is competitive and calculated based on length of service and position within the company. Healthfirst employees receive 8 paid holidays per year.

Healthfirst offers Basic Life Insurance in the amount of one (1) times annual earnings (up to a maximum benefit of $500,000). Spouses and domestic partners are covered at $10,000, and children at $4,000. Healthfirst also makes contributions to short-term disability plans for employees during each year of service. Elective supplemental life insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), and long-term disability plans are also available.
